The Venue

So, we have a venue. Well, we do after I make it official on Monday.

Saturday night, we took our parents to The Grove. We’ve been in love with the place since we went there for a networking event so we’ve been looking forward to this since we finalized Mike’s parent’s visit.

They loved it. They thought it was gorgeous. And it really will make a beautiful, intimate wedding.

We had dinner and it was delicious. We even tried out a couple of dishes that would possibly be on the menu. Appetizers of hummus and quail bites (yes, Mike ate quail!), steak and chicken entrees and pecan cake and banana bread pudding for dessert along with great wine . It was a really relaxing dinner and really special.

We’re so excited. This is finally REAL. In a little over a year, there will be a fabulous ceremony and reception at The Grove and Mikey and I will be man and wife. For reals.
